Artist & Choreographer Ellen Oliver reached out to collaborate on their MFA dance thesis performance at the University of Iowa Department of Dance. I worked and rehearsed with Ellen to experiment and learn what acoustic tonalities were desired and would fit the performance. This culminated in a live audio performance during the thesis show utilizing a set of contact microphones I manipulated in a bin of climbing holds that then ran through a series of effects pedals.
